Inner Harbor Shawl Pattern

$7.00

This generous shawl was inspired by the saturated tones of Neighborhood Fiber Company’s beautiful single-spun yarn. Featuring a wave-like texture, each shade fades into the next, providing visual interest on a reversible fabric.

The long sail shape can be styled for a variety of looks. Wear it as a scarf, open cowl, across your shoulders, as a sash, or as a head wrap. Contrasting tassels provide a bit of weight to keep the wrap in place, without the need for a pin.

This meditative knit is perfect for relaxing at the beach or by the lake on your summer holidays. And the finished shawl transitions from a head wrap to keep your hair in place during a day out on the water, to an elegant evening accessory that will provide a touch of warmth on a cool summer night.

Neighborhood Fiber Company has long supported a number of community projects and non-profits, including the Baltimore Youth Arts program, which “…uses the arts to engage youth with the goal of building long-lasting, mentoring relationships. We provide artistic, entrepreneurial, and leadership opportunities to young people so that they can hone their talents and use them to shape the world.”
