Approximately 2 yards of embroidery floss or other strong decorative thread or yarn that can be tied tightly without breaking, for pompons.
Tools
- US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles, in configuration for working flat.
- Digital scale that will measure in grams.
- Blocking wires and pins.
- Tapestry needle.
- Two pieces of stiff cardboard and 2 toilet roll tubes, or pompon tool.
Gauge
26 stitches and 36 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in any pattern sequence, after blocking.
